Kyle is a third-grader at Springfield Elementary School. He has the same look as one the two Dakota in the same class.

When Bart and Lisa were temporarily in the third grade, the class went on a field trip to Capital City. When they arrived, the teacher, Ms. McConnell, told everyone to get together with a travel partner. Bart said that he wanted to be partnered with Kyle, and Lisa called for Ashley. However, Ms. McConnell disallowed this, because calling out a student's name in public was a breach of security. Bart and Lisa ended up partnered with each other instead.
