The Humanity's Hope is a spaceship.
History
When Earth tried to combat global warming, they accidentally caused a new ice age and had to escape via spaceship, the Humanity's Hope. Eventually, the children on board were woken up from hyper-sleep to get the ship ready for the adults to wake up. Bart and Milhouse accidentally create a jelly monster using the ship's replicator, which kills all the children and causes the Humanity's Hope to crash into a nearby planet, leaving only the Simpson family left alive.
The Humanity's Hope was stocked with seeds and supplies to get civilization up and running again.
