The United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US congress.

History[edit]

Jerry was speaking to congressman Bob Arnold here about cutting down Springfield National Forest.[1]

The Malibu Stacy head executive rang up a man here asking him to deal with Lisa Simpson. He threw a brick at her door.[2]

The Springfield advertisement for the new statue of Jebediah Springfield shows iconic US places such as the Washington Monument seen from the Capitol (Washington, D.C.), Lincoln Memorial (Washington, D.C.), the Liberty Bell (Philadelphia), Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Arlington) and Mount Rushmore (South Dakota).[3]
