Behind the Laughter[edit]

CBGB was a music club in New York City's East Village, but closed in 2006. What the initials stood was not common knowledge, but despite becoming famous as a punk music venue the full name was actually CBGB–OMFUG which stood for Country Bluegrass Blues and Other Music For Uplifting Gourmandizers.
