Unlike most teachers at Springfield Elementary, she doesn't seem as downbeat or exasperated as Krabappel or Hoover, displaying a certain degree of cheerfulness, confidence and competence, at least until she witnesses a failure of the buddy system. She dislikes Edna Krabappel because when she is mentioning where Bart and Lisa previous class teachers she coughs and says 'slut'.[1]
She is later seen teaching the other fourth grade class, suggesting that she switched from 3rd Grade to 4th.[2]
She is also seen chatting with the other teachers from Springfield Elementary at Ned and Edna's wedding party.[3]
