Mrs. Ortner is a music teacher for the third grade of Springfield Elementary School.
History
Mr. Largo agreed to help Lisa hold a concert for Hettie Mae Boggs because he couldn't bear to kill her passion for music. He told Lisa that her passion would live until at least third grade when she got Mrs. Ortner as a teacher. Mrs. Ortner was telling her class that she got back together with Jeff before she realized there was a reason why they broke up. One of the kids started playing the tuba, and Mrs. Ortner told him that sounded awful and he looked stupid doing it.
