Superhero Information
|
Plasmo (aka Plasmo the Mystic) is a friend of Radioactive Man who knows his secret identity. He is often seen teaming up with Radioactive Man, although he does also star in his own comic series.
History
The contents of this article or section are related to the Radioactive Man universe. They are considered fictional in The Simpsons. |
Plasmo was trained in magic by The Decrepit One, along with Lebaron Fordor. One day, Fordor threw The Decrepit One into a bottomless chasm. After that day, Plasmo and Fordor became enemies.[1]
Plasmo teamed up with the Superior Squad to take down Hypno Head. After, he helped with the cleanup. When a nuclear reactor was going to fall on Lure Lass and Purple Heart, he used his powers to stop it and put it down gently.[2]
The Superior Squad received a call from Plasmo who told them to meet him at Crystal Belle's Crystal Balls.[3] Plasmo then held a seance to summon Radioactive Man's ghost. However, this was a trick by Madame Eczema, who then captured the Superior Squad. Meanwhile, Claude Kane III found the real Plasmo at his house, who had a hangover from being in his astral body form all night. Plasmo then received a call for help from the Superior Squad.[4] Plasmo and Radioactive Man rushed to the scene, where Plasmo took on the form of Claude Kane III to trick everyone into believing that Claude wasn't Radioactive Man.[5]
Plasmo attended the wedding of Larva Girl and Radioactive Man. When fighting broke out, Plasmo defeated Dr. Crab.[6]
Plasmo was one of the Superior Squad members who couldn't help stop Shootin' Irons as he was being held captive by The Scarlet Floozy.[7]
At one point, Plasmo got busted by the cops as they didn't like his magic.[8]
Plasmo, along with the rest of the Superior Squad, got captured by Dr. Crab in his asteroid base. After Radioactive Man got killed by Dr. Crab's particle blaster, Plasmo decided that he should be the one to lead the team. As the Superior Squad fought over who will lead the team, Dr. Crab's Crab-Bots attacked the Mando Building. Plasmo fought back against them, causing some of the robots heads to explode. After Radioactive Man returned from the dead, now evil, Plasmo and the rest of the Superior Squad fought back against him but were defeated. Fallout Boy then managed to get the lightning bolt back into Radioactive Man's head, turning him good again.[9]
Plasmo used his powers to open up a portal to the Betaverse to find out what happened there after Radioactive Man-Beta came through an energy rift. However, he couldn't open up to the Betaverse and they instead ended up in the negative universe. Plasmo helped the other heroes to defeat Nega-Pneumatica and opened up a portal to his universe again. However, he then found that the whole thing had been a trick using holograms and technology. Machines in the facility were causing interference so he couldn't sense the existence of the Betaverse. But now that he was away from the machines, he could sense it again.[10]
Behind the Laughter
In the comic story Lo, There Shall Come... A Bartman!! Plasmo's appearance is closer to that of a stereotypical hypnotist, such as Mesmerino.
