Danny McKay is the son of Windy McKay and Mrs. McKay.

History

Danny was too rambunctious for his parents, always yelling, running, and getting into trouble. His parents never had a moment's peace with him. So, they gave him medication to calm him down, which put him to sleep for two days. This led to his father, Windy, getting distracted at the Zenith Power Plant and missing an almost catastrophic malfunction. Radioactive Man met Windy at the power plant where Windy told him all about Danny. Radioactive Man then took Windy to the McKay house so he could inspect Danny.

Danny was talking in his sleep and mentioned "Moon-Cow", which led Radioactive Man to realize that Danny was in another part of the galaxy, in the uncharted space between a grown-up's world and a child's dream. Radioactive Man then flew off to find Danny, leaving the McKays confused. Radioactive Man eventually found Danny on a meteor. Danny, upon realizing that Radioactive Man wanted to take him back home, tried to run off. Radioactive Man caught up with him and told him that he would show Danny places that Danny hadn't dreamed of yet.

Radioactive Man took Danny to Mars, Orion's Belt and the Heavenly Bodies. When they got to the Heavenly Bodies, which were a group of women, Danny didn't want to stay around a bunch of girls so he decided to wake up.

A few days later, the Zenith Power Plant was having a problem again. When Radioactive Man arrived, he found out that Windy hadn't shown up for work for days. When Radioactive Man went to the McKay residence to investigate, he found Danny alone, watching TV and eating junk food. Danny told Radioactive Man that his parents took the same medication they gave Danny to go on vacation.
