The Thing (real name Ben Grimm) is a superhero and a member of the Fantastic Four.

History

Stan Lee once jammed a Thing action figure into Database's Batmobile, breaking the toy in the process.

At a superhero themed pub crawl, Homer dressed as The Thing.

Comic Book Guy has bookends of The Thing and the Hulk.

Someone was seen dressed as The Thing at Comicalooza.

One of the items that Comic Book Guy asked Bart to get him from the toy store was The Thing fists and feet.

On Comic Book Guy's list of greatest quotes of all time is "It's clobberin' time!" by The Thing.
