History[edit]
In a commercial for a DVD on World War II, there was a section about the carrier pigeon in which General Patton appeared. A pigeon delivered a message to him saying that there was a bomb in his helmet and effectively saved his life.[1]
General Patton appeared in a story told by Grampa about his days in World War II. Patton led the assault on the Nazi base on Ham Salad Hill. He sent multiple units to attack, but they all failed. This left him with the Flying Hellfish, who he didn't want to send into battle, but did anyway. According to Grampa, Patton spoke with a high, squeaky voice, and the Flying Hellfish made fun of him.[2]
