Lisa met Isabel in the school's library, and they instantly became friends. They did a report together, only for Lisa to find out that she was a Republican, while Lisa is a Democrat. The difference in political beliefs threatened their friendship, especially when they went head to head for the position of second grade class president. They both decided to put their political beliefs behind them and stay friends.[1]
