Myra is the school secretary for Springfield Elementary School and administrative assistant to Principal Skinner. She has been dating a man named Frank, but their relationship seems to be in the dumps.

Bart was apparently on rather good terms with her, chatting with her when he got sent to Principal Skinner's office, and even giving her the occasional rose. He also knew about her relationship with Frank and asked her how it was going. She told Bart that Frank had claimed his divorce was going to be finalized the following week, but Myra didn't believe him because his wife was pregnant again.
She allowed Bart to wait in Skinner's office unattended, where Bart then found the key to the steam tunnels. Bart and Milhouse proceeded to explore the tunnels and found the valve room.
