Quigley has eyes that are naturally crossed and cannot be corrected to a more normal position. During Picture Day at Springfield Elementary School, Principal Skinner forgot about Quigley's condition and asked him to uncross his eyes for the school photo. Quigley reminded him of the condition, prompting Skinner to apologize.
