Lisa was dubious about it because she didn't believe that hypnotherapy worked. However, when Dr. Sage got Lisa and Marge into Lisa's subconscious, Lisa realized that Dr. Sage wasn't just a "quack". After Lisa and Marge figured out Lisa's problem, Dr. Sage transported them to Marge's subconscious.
