Season 29, is the next season of The Simpsons. It will start on October 1, 2017.^[2] The production begun March 2, 2017 after the recording of the table read of XABF01 the day before.^[1][3]

Announcement

On November 4th, 2016; a FOX Press Release announced the renewal through Season 30:
