Kevin is a blind boy and a student of Springfield Elementary School. Nelson Muntz befriended him.

Nelson put his stuff down on the desk next to him and Kevin knocked it off the desk. Nelson then threatened him, telling him to pick it up. He then got up with his stick and Nelson realized that he was blind.
Later, Nelson defended Kevin against anyone who threatened him in any way. Eventually, after the no-touching rule was thrown out, Kevin touched Nelson's face and told Nelson that he was ugly, resulting in Nelson punching him in the face. Kevin said that he could see again, which Nelson believed until Kevin said "Ha Ha!".[1]
Kevin attended a DJ performance that Bart did in his treehouse.[2]
