He was one of the teachers who expressed discontent and protested against Principal Skinner's miserly spending on school supplies and activities.[1] He also panicked when Principal Skinner informed the faculty that all the Teacher's Edition textbooks had been stolen.[2]
The black teacher went to an "emergency caucus" that the teachers union called.[3]
