Krusty O's is a brand of breakfast cereal. They also come in frosty variety.

History

Bart Simpson once swallowed a jagged metal Krusty-O that had been included as a promotional prize inside a box of Krusty O's cereal. The cereal's box promotions included slogans such as "Free Inside! One Jagged Metal Krusty-O!" and later "Flesh-Eating Bacteria in Every Box!", highlighting the product's questionable safety. The metal object caused Bart to develop appendicitis, resulting in his hospitalization and the removal of his appendix. In response to the incident, Krusty held a press conference to prove that swallowing a jagged metal Krusty-O was not dangerous. However, as soon as he swallowed what he believed was the metal prize, he immediately began gagging and complaining that it was shredding his insides. Sideshow Mel then informed him that he had actually swallowed a regular Krusty-O rather than the metal one, prompting Krusty to declare that the cereal itself must be poison. Following Bart's injury, the Krusty O Cereal Corporation settled his legal claim for $100,000, although most of the money was consumed by attorney fees, leaving Bart with only $500.

The cereal box also advertised "Free Bathroom Deodorizer Inside."
