The Devil is the ruler of Hell.

History

During the filming of The Krusty Halloween Special, Mr. Teeny became possessed by the Devil and ripped Sideshow Mel's face off. After Wayne the Grip shot and killed Mr. Teeny, his head landed in Ralph's lap. The Devil then possessed Ralph before emerging from his mouth on stage. The Devil started killing the audience before he told Krusty that someone had made a deal on his behalf to keep the show on the air. Krusty thought it was his producer, Hal Julian, as he had been talking about making a deal for Krusty. However, the Devil made a hole in Julian and revealed that it was actually Bart who made the deal because Bart was worried that other TV shows would take over The Krusty the Clown Show. When the Devil made zombie versions of characters from educational children's shows attack Krusty, Bart pleaded with the Devil to spare Krusty and take his soul instead. The Devil quickly accepted and took Bart to Hell, where he was educated by the characters.

Years later, Krusty went to Netflix with the footage from the unaired Halloween special, asking if they would take it, because even the Devil was struggling to keep the show on the air anymore due to streaming services.
