Chester Alan Arthur was the 21st President of the United States, serving from 1881-1885. He was elected Vice President and succeeded to the Presidency when James A. Garfield was assassinated.

History

He was portrayed by a student in Springfield Elementary's Presidents' Day play. In the play, John Wilkes Booth (Bart Simpson) started to chase him after he killed Abraham Lincoln.

A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.

An animatronic of Chester A. Arthur was seen in the Hall of Vice Presidents at Kissimmee St. Nick Theme Park and Resort.
