Vehicle Information

Apu's car is a 1979 convertible second generation Pontiac Firebird, in red with a gold Firebird hood decal.

Apu is shown washing the car in "Two Bad Neighbors". He still owned it in "Eight Misbehavin'", where it featured in Homer's plan to help Apu and Manjula conceive (Homer cut the roof off). It has not been seen since they had the octuplets^{[citation needed]}.

It's unknown if the car is a Trans Am spec Firebird or a regular one.
