Rutherford Birchard Hayes was the 19th President of the United States, serving from 1877-1881.

History

He was portrayed by a student in Springfield Elementary's Presidents Day play.^[1] A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.^[2]
