Dress to Distress is a premium questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the A Warmfyre Welcome content update. It requires Melric to be obtained.

After tapping on Melric's exclamation mark Whoa, your costume is magnificent. Costume? I know not what you speak. This is authentic adventurer attire. Oh, we thought you were here for the comic convention. You would have won first prize for sure. How dare you?! I am the renowned Melric, wielder of the magic sword of— Wait...did you say prize? Yeah. Best costume wins. And what exactly is the reward? It's always a surprise. And it's always wonderful! Then of course, I AM here for the convention. Task: "Make Melric Pose for Pictures". The job takes 4 hours. If Database is owned: Task: "Make Database Ogle Melric's Costume". The job takes place at Springfield Park Entrance, Springfield National Park, Peek-At-Em Park, Cretaceous Park, Springfield Skate Park, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Report Card is owned: Task: "Make Report Card Ogle Melric's Costume". I cast lightning bolts! Egads! This ne'er-do-well summons black magic. *hits Database* Ow. You broke my armor. It took my Mom's whole dishwasher box to make that! Look! Even more people are joining the action. Are the Superfriends ready for battle? Rally to me, friends who are super. I shall smite thine enemies down! Task: "Make Melric Playfight". The job takes 4 hours. If Cosine Tangent is owned: Task: "Make Cosine Tangent Rally the Superfriends".
