Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, serving from 1885–1889 and from 1893-1897.

History

After Bart gets spanked by George H. W. Bush, Abe says that "Grover Cleveland spanked him on two non-consecutive occasions." referring to Grover Cleveland, who was at the time the only President to have served two non-consecutive terms in office.[1]

A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.[2]
