America's Funniest Home Videos (often abbreviated AFV) is an American video clip television series that has aired on ABC since 1989. It shows viewer-submitted video clips with voice-over narration (and occasionally sound effects) added for humorous effect. The show spawned two spin-offs: America's Funniest People (abbreviated AFP), which aired from 1990 to 1994; and World's Funniest Videos, which aired in 1996.

America's Funniest Home Videos has been referenced and parodied several times in Simpsons media.

Even though the show isn't named and the clips aren't shown on-screen, the clips' titles ("Man Breaking Hip", "Dog on Fire" and "Baby with a Nailgun"), voiceover narration, studio audience voting and layout of the set (briefly seen in an establishing shot) make it clear that the show is a parody of America's Funniest Home Videos.
	44	"Saturdays of Thunder"	At VHS Village, Homer rents a video titled Football's Greatest Injuries.
	6	121	"A Star Is Burns"	At the Springfield Film Festival, one of the films submitted by Springfieldians is Hans Moleman's Man Getting Hit by Football, which shows Moleman being hit in the groin by a football and then collapsing to the ground. When the film is screened for the festival attendees, Homer laughs uproariously and says, "This contest is over! Give that man the ten thousand dollars!" and adds, still laughing, "Roll it again." Jay Sherman, on stage presenting the films, glares at Homer and says, sharply, "This isn't America's Funniest Home Videos." Later, when the judges convene to cast their votes for the best film, Homer supports Moleman's, enthusiastically referring to it as "Football in the groin!", which is reminiscent of how the producers title the finalists' clips on AFV.

After the video, jury foreman Cletus Spuckler says to the judge, "We the jury find that to be America's funniest home video. Back to you, Bob Saget."

Simpsons Comics #193	Man vs. Beast vs. Food	The taping of the season finale of Man vs. Beast vs. Food goes horribly awry, with an eating contest between Homer and Stampy resulting in the two of them destroying a Krusty Burger restaurant and running up a large damage bill. Krusty thinks he can salvage the situation by selling some of the footage to another reality show such as America's Funniest Maulings.
Bartman #2	Where Stalks... The Penalizer!	When Kent Brockman breaks the news that video footage has been obtained of The Penalizer, he says that a local couple inadvertently caught The Penalizer on tape while they were staging an "accident" for Springfield's Most Mortifying Home Videos.
