Season 14 is the fourteenth broadcast season of The Simpsons. It originally ran on Fox from November 3, 2002, with "Treehouse of Horror XIII", to May 18, 2003, with "Moe Baby Blues". The season was mostly made up of production season EABF episodes, with five rollover episodes from production season DABF also airing. Al Jean served as the showrunner for most of the season, with Mike Scully serving as the showrunner for DABF22.

When Maggie is flung out of the Simpsons' car during a car crash, she lands safely in the arms of Moe, who is about to jump off a bridge. Moe's newfound status as a hero, and Maggie's adoration for him, give him a new lease on life. However, Moe's new overprotectiveness for Maggie causes issues with Homer and Marge.
