Clowta Simpson (née Stillman) is the wife of Garwood Simpson and the mother of Howland Simpson. Her parents are Ettiwanda Stillman and Omar Stillman, and her siblings are Clem, Clancey, Dewey and Ogilvie Stillman.

Behind the Laughter

Although Clowta is, according to The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album, Abraham Simpson's great great grandmother, Abraham has himself stated this role is filled by Mabel Simpson, thus creating a discrepancy in the family tree.
