Synopsis[edit]

Marge and the kids go on vacation, leaving Homer home alone since he wasn't invited. Feeling lonely, Homer meets Lily, a British woman who attempts to seduce him. However, Mr. Burns is also vying for Lily's attention.

Plot[edit]

Groundskeeper Willie tells a story around a campfire, with Nelson, a ferret, and a squirrel listening. It begins in Britain, at The Brexiting Swan pub, where men, including Willie, fight over Lily's love.

Lily is adored across London to such an extent that a jury sends her to America. After rejecting Leonardo DiCaprio's advances, she travels to Springfield and stops at Moe's.

When Marge and the kids remember to tell Homer that they're leaving for a vacation invited by her aunt—but he isn't invited—he follows them on foot to be reassured of their love. After they comfort him, Homer ends up at Moe's, where Lily is performing a song about pubs.

After the performance, Homer walks in, and Lily is struck by how he neither offers her a seat nor a drink. They talk about his feelings, and she advises him to enjoy time alone so he won't regret it later.

Marge and the kids arrive at the island where her aunt lives, while Homer stays behind, sighing and missing them. Lily comforts him by singing "Lili Marleen", but he ignores her, causing her to cry and leave Moe's. Outside, she confesses her love for him to Barney.

The next day, Bart ventures into the forest and contracts Lyme disease, which Marge cures. Meanwhile, Lily lifts spirits at the Power Plant, while tourists arrive at the island and cause chaos, prompting Marge to decide to return home.

Homer invites Lily on a date, which turns out to be a setup for a date with Mr. Burns on his yacht, the Gone Fission. Homer is invited along as a chaperone. While Burns tries to win Lily over and fails, Homer begins to fall for her. They leave the boat after Burns' disastrous attempt.

On the way home, Lily steals a kiss from Homer after he confesses his feelings—comparable to those he has for Marge. That night, Homer tries to stay awake to avoid dreaming about Lily but falls asleep anyway, only to be awakened by Marge's return.

Lily later calls Homer to visit her, but he chooses to stay with Marge, offering her a flower to show his love. At the Springfield International Airport, Lily boards a flight back to London and, at The Sweet Conclusion pub, meets a Homer lookalike, with whom she goes on a date.
