Apocalypse Now is a 1979 film by Francis Ford Coppola, based on the novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. It has been referenced in The Simpsons numerous times.

4	63	"Lisa the Beauty Queen"	Bob Hope and Lisa's escape by helicopter after giving a show to a group of soldiers is similar to the escape of the entertainers by helicopter from a group of soldiers in Apocalypse Now.
74	"I Love Lisa"	Seymour Skinner has a Vietnam War flashback to 1969, when he sailed a river in Da Nang and one of his friends, Johnny received a Valentine's card his girlfriend send him. Distracted by this mail he didn't notice a sniper and was shot dead. This is very similar to a scene in Apocalypse Now when a soldier on a river boat receives an audio recording from his mother by mail. As he listens to it he is ambushed by a sniper and murdered.
7	133	"Lisa the Vegetarian"	The Itchy and Scratchy cartoon "Esophagus Now" is a pun on the title.
138	"Mother Simpson"	Mr. Burns plays a tape with "Ride of the Valkyries" before attacking the 742 Evergreen Terrace.
9	180	"The Principal and the Pauper"	The explosions when Armin Tamzarian is in Vietnam parodies the flashing explosions in "The Bridge" scene.
10	216	"Homer to the Max"	Homer is named the "comic relief, like Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now".
14	292	"Treehouse of Horror XIII"	The helicopters delivering donuts to the clones of Homer are accompanied by the music "Ride of the Valkyries", just like the helicopter attack in Apocalypse Now.
17	360	"Treehouse of Horror XVI"	Supervising Producer Larina Jean Adamson is potrayed as Colonel Kurtz Adamson. Colonel Kurtz being the main antagonist of Apocalypse Now.
373	"Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore"	The way Mr. Burns, Smithers, Marge, Bart and Lisa sail upriver is a reference to Apocalypse Now.
19	405	"Treehouse of Horror XVIII"	"Ride of the Valkyries" plays when helicopters come to attack the space aliens, just like the attack on the village in the film.
415	"Smoke on the Daughter"	Bart's camouflage and the way he enters in view accompanied by the song "The End" by The Doors are a parody of the scene where Martin Sheen's character enters in view in "Apocalypse Now".
417	"Apocalypse Cow"	The episode title is a reference to Apocalypse Now.
20	431	"How the Test Was Won"	Otto halucinates that the bus is flying like a helicopter, then he hums "Ride of the Valkyries".

479	"The Scorpion's Tale"	Milhouse keeps on saying over and over again, "Never get off the bus" after he found the dead hippie's skeleton which is a reference to Willard's repeating in "Never get out of the boat" in voiceover.

25	543	"The Man Who Grew Too Much"	The title of the film Seymour Skinner showed when Lisa was talking about GMO is Apocalypse Chow.
