Ned Flanders was hosting a stand giving away free trading cards at the Springfield Swap Meet. The trading cards were of religious figures, including Joseph of Aramathea and Methuselah.[1]

Methuselah appeared in Bart's dream. After King David killed Goliath with a slingshot, his son, Goliath II, sought revenge and killed King David's oldest friend, Methuselah. David then decided that he should kill Goliath II.[2]
