• Among the things that Bart hides in his binder are a brass knuckle, a can of spray paint, a rubber spider, various straws (for spitballs no doubt), a slingshot, a "kick me" sign, and three comic books.
• Bart makes a "nerd-chucker" out of two protractors and, ironically, hits Cosine with it. Cosine then says that he "thought angles were [his] friend".
