History[edit]
Jonesy and Hope arrived at Bart's Treehouse to try to close a rift. Kang and Kodos were also flying around in their UFO.[1] As Jonesy and Hope fought a demon coming out of the rift, Kang and Kodos brought them up to their UFO with the tractor beam. Hope threw a brick at Kodos' dome, then used the UFO's controls to fight the demon. The demon then grabbed the UFO in its tentacles, and Jonesy noticed that it had a zero point shard in its chest. Hope tried to use the tractor beam to remove the shard, but the demon threw the UFO into the rift, only taking a small portion of the shard with them.
As Kodos and Hope fought over taking the UFO back to the Island or to Springfield, the rift instead sent them into a merged reality, Springfield Island. The Battle Bus then hit the UFO, and Jonesy and Hope parachuted down to the newly formed island. They went searching for the shard and were later in Moe's Tavern, where Jonesy ate one of the self-feeding pretzels that Homer had made with the power of the zero point shard.[2]
When the purple smoke released from the destroyed Homer clones coalesced to create a giant Homer, Hope said she would have nightmares about it. She then used a scanner that showed the zero point shard was somewhere inside him.[3]
Hope, Jonesy, and Peely went with the Simpson family to come up with a plan to get Homer back to his normal size. Hope suggested vaporizing his motor cortex, rendering him immobile so they could extract the shard with a strike team going through his lower bowels. Marge tried to stop her, but Hope shot at him anyway. However, the attack had no effect. Jonesy then suggested they try things Marge's way. Hope came up with another plan, but that plan required the giant Homer helping to fight the Demon Master.[4]
Hope was on the Simpsons' couch along with Jonesy, Meowscles, Fishstick, and Peely, when the family entered the room and pointed guns at them. Hope and the others ran away.[5]
