When Homer was telling Mindy Simmons that they should avoid each other, he said he was "sweating like Roger Ebert."

Behind the Laughter

In real life, Ebert wrote movie reviews for the Chicago Sun-Times for 47 years. He died on April 4, 2013, from complications from throat cancer, which he had for more than 11 years.
