Jake's Unisex Hair Palace[1][2][3][4][5][6] is a barbershop in Springfield that often changes name. It is run by Jake, an aging barber.
History
As Snipper Cuts and Shaves
When Bart went to get his haircut, Jake, the barber ended up cutting him bald.[7]
Homer visited to get his hair cut after taking Dimoxinil, a hair growth medicine.[1]
During Bart Simpson's birthday, he visited the establishment using a birthday coupon that entitled him to a free shave. While receiving the shave, Bart complained about digital audio tape, comparing it unfavorably with compact discs.[3]
Bart once got a job there and was disappointed to be paid in hair.[2]
Name
The name of the barbershop changes very frequently. Its past names include Snipper Cuts and Shaves[7][8] and Jake's Palace.[9]
