Helen Simpson is the wife of Homer Simpson. HShe is a version of Helen Lovejoy as imagined by Marge when she thought about what life would be like if Homer were like the man from the 1950s film The Company Man.
History
After work, Homer got into his wife's car, where Helen and his kids, Dirk and Birk, who resembled Kirk, were waiting. That evening, while eating dinner, Helen told Homer that they were going to the party because she wanted Homer to get the promotion at Amalgamated Components, even if it meant Homer would have to work late every night and never spend a night in their bed again, with her watching Kirk Van Houten through the window.
At the party, Homer got cold feet about talking to the boss and went to get a drink at the bar. While talking about running away with the bartender, Marge, Homer noticed that Helen was making out with Kirk. Homer planned to run away with Marge, but when he came home to pack, Helen revealed that she had managed to get Homer the promotion they wanted him to get. Homer decided to stay at Amalgamated Components and stay with his wife.
