When Marge Simpson tried sciencewater, she said it made her feel like e. e. cummings, before needing to urinate, because she drank too much.[1]
Martin Prince quoted Cummings when he said "I would rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach ten thousand starts how not to dance."[2]
Behind the Laughter
When Marge said "Hmmm. The label is all in lowercase. It's like I'm drinking e. e. cummings!", it was a reference to his name being stylized in lowercase.
