History

Homer once threw a party on the boat when Mr. Burns left his mansion in charge of the Simpsons.

Apu, Mr. Burns, Count Fudgula, Homer, and Garth Mothelovering used Gone Fission when they smuggle in sugar from {{San Glucose]] to Springfield.

Behind the Laughter

• The name is a reference to the term "Gone Fishin'", which has become a popular song and film, among other things.
  • It was also the name of the 20th Simpsons short.
