The Sno-Bliterator was a modified school bus owned by Springfield Elementary School. It was designed to bring children to school even when there was heavy snow.

Principal Skinner introduced the Sno-Bliterator to the children of Springfield Elementary by having Otto drive it through a "snowman" made up of Willie's vomit absorbent. Otto told Bart that his snow days were over now, as the bus would be able to get him to school. Thinking that the modified bus would not be able to make it to school the next day due to the snow, Bart decided to set his alarm clock for two hours later and sleep in. However, when he woke up, he saw the Sno-Bliterator outside, picking Lisa up. Bart rushed to ask Homer and Marge to take him to school, since Skinner said that if anyone missed school thinking it would be a snow day, they'd get a month of detention, but they could not because their cars would not be able to get through the snow.
When Bart finally made it to school, he, Milhouse, and Nelson decided to break the Sno-Bliterator. Mrs. Krabappel was still at her desk while they were discussing this, but let them go ahead with it because she enjoyed snow days more than the kids. Later, after Otto left the bus, the kids snuck onboard and tried to break it. However, it was designed like a normal bus, so there was nothing they could do. They came up with a backup plan, with Milhouse putting gum under the gas pedal, Nelson putting glue on the steering wheel, and Bart pouring Squishee into the engine.
The next day, Otto drove the Sno-Bliterator to school, but Nelson threw a bag of gunk at the windshield. Otto tried to clean it using the wipers, but Squishee came out instead. Otto then swerved to avoid hitting Milhouse and found his hands stuck to the wheel. The bus then went over a frozen lake, with the gas pedal getting stuck. The bus then crashed into Skinner's office, causing damage to the school and the bus.
