The Buckeye Belle is a riverboat used for leisure cruises along the Ohio River.

History

After Springfield Elementary School got closed down, Gary Chalmers went on a cruise onboard The Buckeye Belle to try and get together with widows. On the ship, he was talking to a woman who lost her husband.

Behind the Laughter

Riverboat are associated with the Mississippi and the South, so the name is a play on the Southern Belle with the Buckeye state being a nickname for Ohio.
