- Gil yells D'oh shortly before he drops the fake Maggie.
- This episode is one of the many that explain how Lisa got her pearl necklace, showing that Marge gave it to Lisa during her first day at school. However, this is contradicted by many other episodes. For example, in "Barthood", there's a scene that takes place after Lisa's first month at school, and she's not wearing her pearls yet.
