Lassie is a fictional collie dog.
History[edit]
When Homer talked about Doggie Heaven, he said there were eight Lassies in Doggie Heaven and one of the Lassies in Doggie Hell: the mean one that mauled Timmy.[1]
Before Homer had a performance, Smithers said that he had some sad news to report: a small puppy, not unlike Lassie, had just been run over in the parking lot.[2]
When Little Monty stood up, Mr. Burns asked Smithers who it reminded him of. Smithers asked if it was Lassie, but it was not.[3]
When Bart was up early, he watched the family's animals on Lassie on TV.[4]
According to Homer, Barney's birthday is on the same day as Lassie's.[5]
When Santa's Little Helper sat on Homer's couch and watched TV, he saw Lassie.[6]
As a pickup line, Disco Stu told Ruth Powers that he's going to call her Lassie, because his barn's on fire and Little Timmy is trapped inside.[7]
