America the Beautiful
- The segment is based on The Onion's cartoon strip "Painful Procedural".
- "America the Beautiful" by Samuel A. Ward plays.
- Monsters represent several events:
- A werewolf represents the trade wars.
- A zombie represents Pronouns.
- Death represents the 2025 Southwest United States measles outbreak.
- The Onion's political cartoonist, Ward Sutton, has a cartoon bubble saying "The Watching Dead", a reference to the TV series The Walking Dead.
The Last Days of Crisco
- The segment is a parody of Jaws and The Blob.
- The poster is a parody Smokey and the Bandit.
- Mayor Quimby's outfit is based on Mayor Vaughn's in Jaws.
