Elisha Gray was an American inventor.

History

The Simpson family was at the Springfield Stamp Museum where Alexander Graham Bell was seen as an interactive stamp. Graham Bell introduces himself as the inventor of the telephone. Elisha Gray, on a stamp directly next to Graham Bell's, remarks that he stole the idea of the telephone from him. Graham Bell responds, "Read the patent number, bitch!"
