The shorts car is a car owned by the Simpsons in the Tracey Ullman shorts. It first appears in "The Funeral" with a blue paintjob. It appears again in several other shorts, but it is purple or dark pink. It resembles the Pink Sedan more and more with each subsequent appearance: By "Maggie in Peril - The Thrilling Conclusion", their designs are almost identical. With the first episodes of The Simpsons, and it became the Pink Sedan.
