Mac is a superhero.
History
As a child, Mac's parents were killed by a robber. Mac then read an advert by Atlasman in a comic that let him become a superhero through 15 years of training. He then found the robber again and knocked him out, which got him congratulated by everyone.
Behind the Laughter
Mac's origin story is very similar to Batman's.
