Alfred E. Neuman is the mascot for Mad.

History

His head is seen on the cover of MAD and decorates the tip of the Mad tower which was destroyed.^[1]

Otto bought an Alfred E. Neuman model kit with interchangeable arms from Crafty Art's Art & Crafts in order to disguise his buying glue for other purposes. He then threw it in the bin.^[2]
