The Simpson family won a trip to Washington, D.C. because of Lisa's speeches. They stayed in a fancy hotel, The Watergate, and visited the White House, The National Air and Space Museum, and the Washington Monument.[1]
After a bank employee became suspicious of Krusty’s offshore account, a representative in the Cayman Islands accidentally confirmed that Krusty had a secret, illegal account. The information was then sent to the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C., which received a fax reporting Krusty’s tax evasion. Federal authorities then moved quickly to have the police arrest him for his tax offenses.[2]
