Los Angeles is a city in the American state of California. A lot of famous celebrities live in Los Angeles and Hollywood, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, is regarded as the historical capital of American cinema.

The 1984 Summer Olympics, seen in Great Moments in Olympic History, took place in Los Angeles.[1]
The Simpson family visited the city after Homer gave Mel Gibson's new film a bad review. Mel made Homer and his family come to L.A. so he could edit the film.[2]
Moe Szyslak went to Los Angeles after he became a judge on American Idol. Moe arrived via Los Angeles International Airport. Simon Cowell showed him around the city, where they visited Flynt Publications and went past the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.[3]
In an attempt to get Aeropos Walkov to sign up with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Hollywood sign was changed to say "Hollywalkov." Danny Trejo recorded a video near the sign to try and convince Walkov to sign with them.[4]

After narrowly escaping a collapsing third-dimensional universe, Homer Simpson suddenly reappeared in the real world, landing inside a dumpster in Los Angeles, California. Confused by his unfamiliar surroundings, he walked along Ventura Boulevard as pedestrians stared at him before entering a bakery advertising "Erotic Cakes."[5]
