Geronimo's gravestone was seen in an ancient Indian burial ground in an Evil House where the Simpson family moved in.^[1]

The expression “Geronimo,” inspired by the bravery of the Apache leader Geronimo, became popular in the 1940s when paratroopers of the United States Army began shouting it as they jumped from airplanes, and it has been used on various occasions in the series:
