Character Information

Thomas Mann is an author who wrote Death in Venice.
History[edit]
When Waylon Smithers, Jr. was forced to get a job as a supply teacher at Springfield Elementary School, he was planning on having the children read Death in Venice. He decided not to, however, after the class spitballed him.
Later, while helping to rescue Mr. Burns and Homer, Smithers threw the book at one of the A9000 Robots, which then seemed to fall in love with it.
